Some DeskSwappers stay with friends or family during their swap. But it’s not that easy for all swappers, as many don’t have connections in their new location. If that includes you then then read on!
Given that most swaps are typically for just 3 - 4 months. For most swappers, the simplist accomodation options are to temporarily swap homes with your match, or to rent. Whilst the former has the benefit of simplicity you may feel more comfortable renting. Though your financial position is clearly a key determinant in the choice you make.
