Things to watch out for when buying insurance
Whether you already have a personal insurance policy, are already insured through your work, or are taking out a new policy, you should check that it covers you for the following:
- medical expenses
- legal costs
- passport loss
- ticket loss
- cash loss
- luggage loss
- travel cancellation
- missed flights
- working abroad
- hazardous sports
- winter sports
- pre-existing medical conditions
You should also check the renewal date of the policy. If it needs renewing whilst you are away, make sure that you put the date in your diary!
